# Breet Review 2026: Features, Coins

What Breet offers, what users say about it, and when Nosh is the better choice.

Operator

Inbreetic Technologies Limited (Nigeria), with a Canadian entity

Headquarters

Lekki, Lagos

Markets

Nigeria and Ghana, paying naira, Cedis or USD

Users

500,000+ (company figure)

Coins to cash in

14 listed, including BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC, SOL, XRP and TON

Certifications

ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and PCI DSS (company statement)

## The short version

* **Breet:** A deep crypto off-ramp for Nigeria and Ghana, with invoices and an API.
* **Nosh:** The same off-ramp, plus the gift card in your drawer.

## Why people compare Breet with other apps

Most people looking at alternatives have hit one of three situations.

* **They have gift cards too:** Breet handles crypto only, so an unused Apple or Steam card needs a second app.
* **The rate is the fee:** Breet doesn't publish a percentage; its margin sits inside the rate you're shown, so the only way to judge it is to compare rates on the day.
* **They want more than bills:** Airtime, data and TV are covered, but there are no eSIMs and no betting top-ups.

## What Breet does

Breet gives you wallet addresses for 14 coins, converts anything that lands into naira, Cedis or USD and settles it to your bank automatically, then adds buying and swapping across 170+ assets, crypto invoices for freelancers, bill payments, crypto cards, an OTC desk and a payments API for businesses.

## Breet pros and cons

Based on its published claims and on recent user reviews.

| Pros | Cons |
| --- | --- |
| Nigeria and Ghana, with payouts in naira, Cedis or USD | No gift card trading of any kind |
| 14 coins to cash and 170+ for swapping, across many networks | No published conversion fee; the margin is inside the displayed rate |
| Automatic settlement: the naira arrives without opening the app | No eSIMs and no betting top-ups |
| Crypto invoices, an OTC desk and an API for businesses | Sign-up and account-freeze issues appear in recent reviews |
| ISO 27001 and PCI DSS certification, plus NFIU registration | Its Nigerian SEC application is still pending, not granted |

## What users say

The praise is about speed and support. The complaints are about getting in and staying in.

| What users like | What users complain about |
| --- | --- |
| Fast automatic payouts: Naira lands without any action. | Sign-up failures: Username errors blocking registration. |
| Support that resolves things: Named repeatedly, including on frozen accounts. | Accounts frozen: Login blocked pending a support fix. |
| Rate shown before converting: No surprise at the end of a trade. | Rate transparency: No percentage published to check against. |

## How users rate Breet

The platforms these reviews were drawn from.

| Platform | Rating | Reviews |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Google Play | 4.6 | 4,440 |
| App Store | 4.4 | 928 |
| Trustpilot | Listed | About 199 |

Checked September 2026. Breet's 4.6 on Google Play is the strongest app store rating of any crypto platform in this comparison. We could not verify its Trustpilot score at the time of writing, so only the review count is shown.

## Breet vs Nosh: how they compare

These two overlap more than any other pair in this set: both are direct off-ramps, both pay naira and Cedis, and both do bills. These are the rows that decide it.

| What differs | Breet | Nosh |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Sell a gift card for cash | Not offered | **Yes, in naira, Cedis or crypto** |
| Coins to cash | **14 listed, plus 170+ for swapping** | 8 |
| Payout currencies | **Naira, Cedis or USD** | Naira or Cedis |
| eSIMs and betting top-ups | Not offered | **Yes, both** |
| Business tools | **Crypto invoices, OTC desk, payments API** | Consumer app |
| Buying gift cards | Not offered | **Yes** |

Checked 11 September 2026. Neither platform publishes a percentage conversion fee, so the only fair test is to compare both live rates for the same coin on the same day.

## Where each platform is ahead

Neither app covers everything. These are the differences that matter most.

### Where Breet is ahead

* **More coins and networks** 14 to cash, 170+ to swap, across many chains
* **A USD payout option** alongside naira and Cedis
* **Built for freelancers and businesses** crypto invoices, OTC desk and an API
* **Security credentials** ISO 27001 and PCI DSS certification

### Where Nosh is ahead

* **It buys your gift cards** the trade Breet doesn't do at all
* **Gift cards paid in crypto** as USDT, BTC, LTC or DOGE
* **eSIMs and betting top-ups** alongside airtime, data and bills
* **One wallet for both assets** cards and coins in the same place

## Our verdict

The closest competitor Nosh has. The difference is what you're holding.

Breet is a strong platform and we won't pretend otherwise: it is a direct off-ramp like Nosh, covers Nigeria and Ghana like Nosh, and beats us on coin coverage, on paying out in USD, and on tools for freelancers and businesses, with ISO 27001 and PCI DSS certification behind it. Its 4.6 rating on Google Play is the best of any crypto app in this set. What it doesn't do is gift cards, in either direction, so the Apple or Steam card in your drawer has to go to a different app, and there are no eSIMs or betting top-ups either. Nosh is the better fit if you hold both cards and coins and want one wallet for them; if crypto is all you move, especially at volume or through invoices, Breet is a serious choice.

You don't have to leave Breet to try Nosh. Neither platform publishes a conversion percentage, so the practical test is simple: check both live rates for the same coin on the same day and send it wherever the number is better.

## What People Also Ask About Breet

### Is Breet legit?

Yes. Breet is operated in Nigeria by Inbreetic Technologies Limited, holds a 4.6 rating on Google Play from about 4,400 reviews, and states that it is ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified, PCI DSS compliant and registered with the Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit. Its application to the SEC's regulatory incubation programme is described as pending rather than granted.

### Can I sell a gift card on Breet?

No. Breet handles cryptocurrency only; its "crypto gifts" feature sends coins to someone, it doesn't buy gift cards. Nosh buys gift cards and pays in naira, Cedis or crypto.

### What does Breet charge?

Breet doesn't publish a percentage conversion fee. Its margin is built into the rate you see before converting, which is a normal model for an off-ramp but means the only way to judge the cost is to compare live rates across platforms on the same day.

### Does Breet work in Ghana?

Yes. Breet pays in Cedis as well as naira, and also offers a USD payout, so this is one area where it matches rather than trails Nosh.

### Which coins does Breet support?

It lists 14 coins for cashing out, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, USDC, BNB, DOGE, LTC, BCH, TRX, AVAX, SOL, TON and XRP, with USDT and USDC across several networks, plus more than 170 assets for swapping. Nosh supports eight coins for cashing out.

### What is a good alternative to Breet?

If you trade gift cards as well as crypto, Nosh covers both in one wallet and adds eSIMs and betting top-ups. If you move crypto at volume, invoice clients in crypto, or need a USD payout, Breet is the stronger platform.

### Why was my Breet account frozen?

Reviewers describe accounts frozen with login blocked, and also describe support restoring access once contacted. Ask for the specific reason in writing and keep records of the transactions involved.
